The WOOD WOOL AWARD is open to all architects and designers, who are invited to submit projects in the form of photographs and drawings from one or more of their own buildings where wood wool panels have been visibly incorporated in the architectural design – cement or magnesite bonded wood wool, irrespective of manufacturer.

There is no requirement regarding the building’s character or use, but the project must have been completed in 2012 or later.

Judgement criteria

The jury panel will assess the projects based on their aesthetic quality and/or innovativeness or originality, and on how the use of wood wool panels support and enhance the architectural design.

The jury panel will select two winners of the WOOD WOOL AWARD 2015 – a project with wood wool panels not manufactured by Troldtekt, and a project featuring Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool panels. Both winning entries will receive a prize of EUR 5,000.
