New theme: Architecture in the Capital of Culture
Europe’s eyes are on Aarhus as European Capital of Culture 2017. As part of the programme, the architects in Aarhus are marking the year with, among other things, the Rising Architecture Week biennale.

Striking buildings and a completely new urban district are shooting up at the moment in the heart of Aarhus. Troldtekt’s new theme takes you on a trip to Aarhus Docklands, and you can read an interview with the urban developer Rune Kilden.
There is also an interview with Jørgen Bach, a partner at Arkitema Architects, who explains the thoughts behind the Rising Architecture Week biennale and the business cluster The Architecture Project.
The theme also includes a unique installation which the German architects’ collective Raumlabor has created using Troldtekt acoustic panels. The installation comprises five-metre-high ‘card houses’ built from Troldtekt panels, ensuring considerable exposure for the company during the biennale at Godsbanen.
