This eight-storey new build designed by Berlin architects Bolwin Wulf is a stone’s throw from Berlin Central Station and meets the very highest standards in both technology and sustainability.

Multiple certifications
The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has provisionally awarded the EDGE Grand Central the highest Platinum certification for its ecologically sustainable construction and energy efficiency. Furthermore, the building is the first in Germany to be awarded the WELL Gold Core & Shell provisional certificate by the International Well Building Institute (IWBI). This certificate honours extraordinary designs which help create a healthy working environment and improve the wellbeing of the people who use and work in the building.

Comfort for workers
Wellbeing features in the office block include the four roof gardens; fitness, quiet and massage rooms; a lounge with fireplace as well as various games facilities (table tennis, table football and billiards). There is a 400 m2 communal area where free fruit and cereal are available as well as a bar.

Thanks to the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, workers can even individually adjust the lighting, ventilation and temperature to their needs via a building app.

Extraordinary attention to detail
The building contains a total of 113 conference rooms of various sizes featuring state-of-the-art technical equipment; these have been designed and furnished with great attention to detail to provide a creative and innovative environment for coworking. Fitted carpets in bold colours make the rooms feel cosy and inviting. Some of the walls feature acoustic elements by Troldtekt in keeping with the colour scheme of the floor. As well as having essential sound absorption properties, the texture of the wall covering is an important design feature and helps create a relaxed atmosphere.
