GERCHGROUP AG has chosen to base its new HQ in a commercial and office complex in the heart of Düsseldorf which has been lauded as the best new building in Germany. inghoven architects is behind the building and thanks to a hornbeam hedge like no other in Europe, it has totalling an impressive eight kilometres in length, and the development also boasts Europe's largest green façade and meets the highest standards in terms of exclusivity, environmental friendliness and sustainability.

Exclusive and innovative

The modern office space, which extends over almost 1,800 square metres across two floors and also includes around 670 square metres of terrace, radiates an exclusive, innovative and contemporary vibe.

In keeping with the highest standards in state-of-the-art office design, open and closed spaces blend harmoniously and offer plenty of scope for focused work and meetings, as well as for general interaction or taking a moment to relax. Connected by a wide internal steel staircase, the two floors contain various meeting spaces and offices, dining and lounge areas in a sophisticated design, an open kitchen, a wine library and utility rooms.

High-end loft-style design

The working space is flooded with light and features high-quality furniture along with a varied range of design elements. Dark wood combined with an abundance of glass and steel gives the office a sense of sophisticated charm. Black exposed industrial ceilings also accentuate the loft-style look – especially in the communal areas – while pale floors provide an effective contrast to the darker walls and dividing curtains in muted colours.

In line with the high-end overall design, Troldtekt acoustic panels modified by the developer were installed on the ceiling in some of the meeting rooms, offering the option to integrate a wide variety of lighting elements.
