A summer oasis

When the sun is high in the sky above Aarhus, many of its residents head to the Harbour Bath in the Aarhus Docklands, where you can take a refreshing dip and also enjoy everything from ice cream to food and local beer. Uno Más offers visitors a haircut and a beer in a relaxed setting.

Bassin 7 is surrounded by cranes and ongoing construction, but it is also filled with happy people who congregate around the Harbour Bath. The AARhus urban development project towers over the waterfront’s outer tip, and next door can be found Theatre Group 38, among others.

Many people in the city take walks or do a little fishing on the newest part of Aarhus Docklands. Their walk will take them past the small, temporary stalls by the Harbour Bath, and they will often swing by Uno Más. You can buy beer here for a fishing trip or the quayside, or enjoy it inside while watching a sporting event on TV.

The atmosphere is very relaxed inside the ‘barbershop’, which is a building consisting of two containers. Acoustics were a major consideration, as they are so important to creating the right atmosphere.

White Troldtekt acoustic panels have been installed on all of the ceilings and provide visual coherence at Uno Más. The place also offers a men’s haircut or shave – with a draught beer included in the price, of course.
