Wine and great atmosphere

Pinot - a wine bar cum shop - is situated next to the Church of Our Lady in central Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city. Located on a corner and with tables outside in the church square, Pinot has found the perfect location right in the heart of the Jutland capital.

Pinot serves and sells a wide range of wines and spirits sourced from both large and small wine producers. The shop specialises in fine wines which are beautifully displayed in glass cabinets, and also has a large selection of champagnes.

The basement is used for wine tastings for larger groups, but also for musical performances. The employees are all highly competent, and can help customers choose the best value for money or just the right wine.

Important acoustics

With a charming corner location, you can sit inside and watch street life unfolding through the windows. In the summer, tables and chairs are arranged in the small square opposite, creating a calm oasis in the middle of the city. The interior, which Pinot designed itself, is dominated by bottles, which are obviously divided into various categories.

Dark blue Troldtekt acoustic panels have been chosen for the ceilings, adding warmth to the room. As it is a bar which can cater for quite a few guests while at the same time welcoming wine customers, good acoustics are crucial. The dark ceilings contrast beautifully with all the large window sections, while the gleaming bottles on display and the wood and leather tables and chairs create a pleasant atmosphere.
