Heinze ArchitektenAWARD 2021 with Troldtekt acoustic panel solutions

23:e aug. 2021

‘Nichtwohnbau’ (non-residential construction) is the theme of this year’s Heinze ArchitektenAWARD, awarded by Heinze GmbH to honour completed architectural projects.

Launched in 2010, the German architectural prize is open to architects and planners to enter projects they have realised over the last five years. When the jury of independent experts assesses the work it is not the project volume or the expertise of the firm that is crucial. Instead, the focus is much more on quality and the unique nature of the project.

In addition to being evaluated by the expert jury, Heinze users can also vote for projects online. The projects with the most ‘likes’ have a chance at one of three ‘audience awards’.

The projects submitted in six categories include a large number of buildings fitted with Cradle to Cradle certified Troldtekt acoustic panels.

In the ‘Office and administrative buildings’ category, for example, the submitted projects include Alter Güterbahnhof Remagen and Alnatura Arbeitswelt, which was awarded the platinum DGNB certificate.

Other projects, such as Vitalbad Kusel, featuring a colourful design, and Sportpark Freiham, the largest sports centre in Munich, are being evaluated in the ‘Buildings for culture, events and sports’ category.

Last but not least, the jury and online visitors can cast their votes in the ‘Social buildings’ category for Kita Bärenhöhle Esens, designed as a passive house, and in the ‘Commercial buildings’ category for Hotel Déjanil, with its minimalist, clearly structured façade.
