‘everyworks’ – the future of coworking

Are you looking for a place where you can work and concentrate in a calm, stress-free environment in the very heart of the German capital? Deutsche Bahn makes it possible with everyworks, the first rentable coworking space of its kind in Berlin Central Station.

Everyone who has had enough of working from home, who is in transit or looking for a meeting room can now conveniently book a workplace or meeting room on a temporary basis – even by the minute – on the tenth floor via an app.

Deutsche Bahn is taking the notion of co-working – a setup whereby multiple people can engage in mobile working on their own projects in a single location – one step further in response to the Covid-19 situation.

Thanks to flexible, calm and hygienic office solutions by everyworks, nobody needs to continue working in isolation on an uncomfortable kitchen table staring at the same four walls. You can now take a seat in a modern and professionally equipped work space and be productive – for both briefer and longer periods at a time – while maintaining a sufficient distance from other co-workers.

Access to the 1,500 m² coworking space is via the Welcome Area. A bar area serves simultaneously as a reception, coffee bar and work table. Bold, luminous colours determine the design here as well as in all other rooms.

everyworks currently provides 115 ‘Minute Seats’ for quiet, focused work that can be booked flexibly and 21 workstations in the ‘Focus Area’ in the rear part of the spacious, light-flooded area. In addition, there are also nine meeting rooms for between two and eight people. They are equipped with height-adjustable tables, Bluetooth-enabled screens (43 and 55 inches), large whiteboards and a toolbox with presentation material.

HDMI and VGA adapters can be borrowed free of charge. The services also include internet connectivity as well as water, coffee and tea. If needed, a catering service can also be booked.

For optimal acoustics in this creative working environment, all wall coverings as well as the textile surfaces of the furniture are acoustically optimised. At the same time, they are hallmarks of the design concept. In contrast to the bold colours of the furnishings, the ceilings and floors are a neutral grey shade.

In some areas, black Troldtekt acoustic panels are installed on the walls of the everyworks office spaces. They guarantee the greatest possible sound absorption and are conducive to a calm, stress-free atmosphere.
