Danish capital honours beautiful buildings

The City of Copenhagen, the municipal authority in the Danish capital, has awarded prizes to seven particularly beautiful buildings for the positive contribution they make to the urban environment. Two of the prize-winning projects have installed Troldtekt acoustic ceilings.

One is the office building Turbinehuset in Adelgade (Photo), which features rustic materials, distinctive details and has a green building cerification n accordance with DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) in the gold category. Read more about Turbinehuset >>

The other is the theatre Folketeatret, which has been given a new lease of life following an extensive restoration project. Read more about Folketeatret >>

In addition, the residential development Byhusene on Islands Brygge, Cirkelbroen (the Circle Bridge), the pier Kvæsthusmolen, the waterfront development at Krøyers Plads and the renovation of the square Sankt Annæ Plads all received prizes. Congratulations to the architects and the clients!
