Troldtekt in panel discussion at Circular Shift 2020 summit
How do we achieve a circular future? This will be the focal point when the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute presents a series of virtual panel discussions in October. Troldtekt will be on the panel that will be discussing innovative collaborations and resilient supply chains.
The coming weeks offer plenty of inspiration and knowledge for those interested in sustainability and the circular economy. Circular Shift 2020 is the name of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute’s annual event whose agenda features a number of panel discussions – including Troldtekt’s participation.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the originally planned event in Amsterdam has been converted into a virtual event this year. The organisers have used this as an opportunity to spread the inspiring discussions across several weeks. You can watch the live-streamed panel discussions free of charge every Thursday at 3PM CET between 8 and 29 October.
Troldtekt’s head of communications, Tina Kristensen, is participating in the panel on 22 October with the subject of innovative collaborations and resilient supply chains. The other two panellists are Timothy Glaz, Head of Corporate Affairs, Werner & Mertz, and Hugues Lefevre, Product Manager, AGC Glass Europe.

The raw materials are close to the production process
Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute manages the sustainable Cradle to Cradle design concept. Since 2012, Troldtekt acoustic panels have been Cradle to Cradle certified at silver level, and at the same time Troldtekt has based its business strategy on the circular principles of the design concept.
Partnerships and resilient supply chains, the subject of the panel discussion on 22 October, are an important focus area at Troldtekt. Only Danish raw materials – certified wood (PEFC™ and FSC®) and cement – are used in the production of Troldtekt acoustic panels.
The raw materials are sourced within a radius of approximately 150 kilometres from the Troldtekt factory. This means that Troldtekt has a secure supply line from supplier to factory as well as a low CO2 footprint when transporting the raw materials.
