Troldtekt v-line wins an ICONIC AWARD 2023
Troldtekt’s latest design solution with discreet v-shaped grooves in the surface is one of the winners at the ICONIC Awards 2023: Innovative Interior. The German Design Council is behind the prestigious design award.
The German Design Council, which also presents the German Design Awards and the German Innovation Award, has now revealed the winners of this year’s ICONIC AWARDS 2023: Innovative Interior. Here, the design solution Troldtekt v-line won the award in the ‘Product design – wall, floor, ceiling’ category.
The aim of the award is to pay tribute to leading market players within interior design and innovation. An international jury of experts has chosen Troldtekt v-line as the winner.
“We’re very proud that the German Design Council has once again decided to honour a new acoustic solution from Troldtekt. It helps to underline that we are living up to our value of being innovative. The award is highly respected by architects, and helps pave the way for Troldtekt v-line to be used in even more office and residential projects,” says Steffen Riedmann, Country Manager, Troldtekt GmbH.
The award will be officially presented at a ceremony on 3 June 2023 at Design Post in Cologne, after which the ICONIC AWARDS 2023 exhibition will open, and visitors will be able to see all the nominated products.
Popular solution for superior acoustics and visual tranquility
The winning Troldtekt v-line solution ensures superior acoustics, for example in homes and offices. It is available in two variants: Troldtekt v-line 1way and Troldtekt v-line 2way. Both products have discreet v-shaped grooves milled into the surface. Each panel features ten or six evenly spaced grooves.
Troldtekt v-line 1way creates a calm ceiling surface with long, uninterrupted lines reminiscent of wooden strip ceilings. With 2way, however, the longitudinal grooves are broken by transverse grooves where the panel ends meet. A white or natural wood/natural grey 2way panel creates a particularly characterful pattern that stands out clearly in the room.
Like the other Troldtekt acoustic panels, Troldtekt v-line is manufactured from Danish wood and cement. The acoustic panels in natural wood and the panels painted in Troldtekt’s standard colours have been certified at Gold level in accordance with the sustainable Cradle to Cradle design concept.
