Soon, the doors will be opening to the SCHULBAU trade fair in Dresden, which is being held on 22-23 March 2023. The fair focuses on school and educational buildings, which is a particularly relevant theme in the German state of Saxony, which is due to make massive investments in school and childcare institution architecture in the coming years.
Therefore, architects, decision-makers and other stakeholders are gathering to share their knowledge and find new inspiration that will benefit Saxony’s approx. 400,000 pupils and students. One of the companies ready to present solutions for tomorrow’s school buildings is Troldtekt GmbH.
Inspiration for a healthy indoor climate
At Troldtekt’s inspiring stand, our project consultants will be available to answer questions and talk about superior acoustics and healthy building materials – two key ingredients for the healthy indoor climates which are needed to support young people’s learning.
On the stand, you can explore a selection of characterful Troldtekt design solutions in different colours – as well as Troldtekt acoustic panels based on the carbon-reduced cement type FUTURECEM™.
All Troldtekt acoustic panels in natural wood, natural grey and painted in standard colours have been certified at Gold level in accordance with the sustainable Cradle to Cradle design concept.
Experten Lab: Presenting best practice
At the SCHULBAU ‘Experten Lab’ forum, visitors can be inspired and learn about different aspects of school architecture. A variety of talks and panel discussions will take place on the stage.
On the first day of the fair, you can hear Tina Snedker Kristensen, Head of Communications & Sustainability at Troldtekt, talk about the importance of healthy materials in school buildings. She will also be presenting best practice examples from schools in both Germany and Denmark. The talk is being held on Wednesday 22 March at 14:00.
