Elegant ceiling design in a modern office

In designing contemporary office spaces, the combination of open and private areas with a multifunctional design plays a key role.

Sound-absorbing cement-bonded wood wool panels from Troldtekt are often used as acoustic ceilings in commercial properties

Bulky desks lined up in front of oak shelving full of lever arch files are a thing of the past in modern companies. Now that many staff regularly work from home and there are many more online meetings thanks to the pandemic, open-plan offices have had to become much more flexible and multifunctional as meeting places. They have to offer both private areas to withdraw to and open spaces for dialogue, as well as meet the highest demands for creative working with state-of-the-art technology and an innovative design.

Multifunctional office design

A Bavarian company has impressively managed to create a multifunctional, space-optimised workplace at its offices, where all employees feel comfortable thanks to a contemporary interior design concept. In the bright, open office, private cubicles alternate with appealing common areas. These are divided by partition systems, embellished with plants here and there to help create a natural, feel-good ambience.

An almost enclosed seating area with high-backed seats serves as a cosy island in the middle of the open-plan space. In the kitchen directly adjoining the office, bar tables offer the perfect opportunity to chat over a coffee.

Elegant ceiling design

The interior concept is rounded off by the holistic colour scheme. Light furnishings stand out against mustard-yellow floors and walls. The suspended ceiling is particularly elegant. Yellow and orange Troldtekt acoustic panels in the rhomb design create accents thanks to their asymmetrical layout and offer glimpses of the pipework beyond. The light installations and access elements are incorporated into the ceiling to create an attractive overall design.
