Danish architects among the world’s best

For the fourth year running, the New York-based architectural media site Architizer has published its ‘A+List’ of the world’s 196 best architectural firms. The list includes, among others, four Danish companies who are highlighted for a number of projects featuring Troldtekt acoustic solutions.

Even though Denmark is a small country, Danish architects manage to make their mark on the international stage. The architectural media site and database Architizer has just released its ‘A+List’, which is an annual summary of each architectural firm that won an A+Award or an A+Firm Award in the course of the past season. The purpose of the list is to inspire exciting projects all over the world.

This year’s A+List includes four Danish architectural firms who are all behind a number of stunning projects which incorporate Troldtekt acoustic solutions.

Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects

Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects received an Architizer’s award as the Public Vote Winner within the ‘Architecture +Learning’ and ‘Hospitals and Healthcare Centres’ categories. Therefore, the firm is also included on Architizer’s A+List of the world’s best architectural firms.

Architizer highlights selected projects by the firm, including two with Troldtekt acoustic solutions:

  • The learning centre LIFE Campus in Kongens Lyngby, north Copenhagen

  • The office community KB32, where Poul Schmidt/Kammeradvokaten is based. The project was named Office Building of the Year 2022 by the Danish course and conference organiser Nohrcon

COBE Architects

The architectural firm Cobe received an Architizer’s award as Public Vote Winner in the ‘Transport and Infrastructure’ category.

 That’s why they are on the A+List. The highlighted projects featuring Troldtekt include:

CEBRA architecture

The firm received an Architizer A+Award in the ‘Urban and Masterplan’ category. The highlighted projects featuring Troldtekt acoustic solutions include:

Christensen og Co. Architects

Christensen & Co. Architects was Architizer’s Public Vote Winner in the ‘Community Centres’ category, and is therefore also included on the A+List.
