Troldtekt is participating as a member and partner when Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen - DGNB e.V. 10.06.2024

On Tuesday, 18 June, the German DGNB council will once again host the DGNB Tag der Nachhaltigkeit in Stuttgart. In the afternoon, there will be free admission for all construction professionals who want new inspiration for their work on sustainability.

In addition to being a member of DGNB, Troldtekt is also a partner at the event in Stuttgart. Project consultant Daniel Hampel from Troldtekt GmbH will give a brief introduction to Troldtekt. During the walk & talks, he will also be on hand to talk about good acoustics and Troldtekt’s Cradle to Cradle focus.

During the afternoon, there will also be presentations from Drees & Sommer, HafenCity Hamburg and several others who have experience with sustainability initiatives in construction.

The open programme begins at 12:30 p.m., while the morning will be devoted to the general meeting of the DGNB council, of which Troldtekt is a member.

Working strategically with Cradle to Cradle

Since 2012, Troldtekt has been working strategically with the international design concept Cradle to Cradle. All Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool products in natural and standard colours are Cradle to Cradle-certified at gold level. With the certification, we are committed to making continuous progress in areas such as material health, circularity, renewable energy and social responsibility.

Cradle to Cradle aligns well with the DGNB building certification, which also takes a holistic approach, where areas such as the environment, indoor climate and economy are all important. Troldtekt acoustic solutions can contribute to the points in a building's DGNB certification and are included in several certified buildings (see a selection below).

Troldtekt Innovest

Innovest

The Innovest complex rises dramatically above the flat countryside of west Jutland like an enormous circular sculpture in shades of red, orange and yellow. The building is inspired by the nearby heathland, the river Skjern Å and the flourishing business community in the area.

Hirschsprung Hus

The former tobacco factory in Hirschsprung Hus has been renovated several times. The building has now undergone a process which saw the removal of all the fixtures and fittings, after which it was elegantly fitted out while showing great respect for both the building and the environment.
