About Troldtekt acoustic panels
Classic acoustic panels for all types of building projects
Troldtekt acoustic is our classic acoustic product, which is a popular choice in offices, schools, institutions, sports centres, cultural venues, private homes and many other types of buildings.
The panel is made of cement-bonded wood wool, a combination of certified wood (FSC® C115450 or PEFC/09-31-030) and cement. The surface can be painted, but many choose to leave the panel unpainted for a natural look.
As wood is one of the two raw materials, colour variations may occur, especially in variants such as natural wood and FUTURECEM™. For a uniform result, we recommend mixing up the panels when mounting.
Ensures optimum acoustics
Troldtekt acoustic panels can be mounted as ceiling and wall cladding. As an acoustic ceiling, the panels are installed directly on battens or in a suspended profile system, and often with a mineral wool backing for optimum sound absorption.
In spaces where the need for good acoustics is particularly high, such as in institutions and swimming pools, installing Troldtekt panels on both the ceilings and sections of the walls is an ideal solution. If you do so, you can ensure sound absorption of up to αw = 1.0, which corresponds to 100 per cent.
