About Troldtekt line

Uniform and calm aesthetic

Troldtekt line offers an elegant and uniform ceiling surface with no visible joins. The product exudes the stylish reserve that is characteristic of wood batten ceilings.

When the acoustic panels are joined together, the grooves are continuous along the entire surface, creating a seamless look. Each long side of the panel has a half groove, so that an extra groove is formed where panels are joined to the wall or ceiling.

The panel is made of cement-bonded wood wool, a combination of certified wood (FSC® C115450 or PEFC/09-31-030) and cement. The surface can be treated, but many choose to leave the panel untreated for a natural look.

As wood is one of the two raw materials, colour variations may occur, especially in variants such as natural wood and FUTURECEM™. For a uniform result, we recommend mixing up the panels when installing.


Flexible design

Troldtekt line can be installed as both ceiling and wall cladding. As an acoustic ceiling, the panels are installed directly on formwork or in a suspended profile system.

Troldtekt line is part of our design series, which aims to give architects and developers great design flexibility when ceilings and walls need to ensure improved sound absorption. Troldtekt line can ensure sound absorption of up to αw = 1.0, which corresponds to 100 per cent.

Troldtekt line can be mounted on both walls and ceilings, and you can choose the method that suits you best: screw mounting or a suspended profile system.

Troldtekt line ensures brilliant acoustics, which is essential for a healthy indoor climate. What's more, Troldtekt acoustic panels are documented as free from harmful substances that can contaminate the indoor climate. The acoustic panels can also absorb and release moisture, which can make the indoor climate feel more comfortable.

Troldtekt line is made from natural wood and cement extracted from the Danish subsoil. Although wood is an organic and combustible material, non-combustible cement encapsulates each individual wood fibre in the panel. This is why Troldtekt panels have low flammability and emit very little heat during a fire and almost no smoke.
