Harbour House is the fifth of six-buildings which Kim Utzon refers to as  ‘Nolli’. The U-shaped building complex is the joint headquarters for three shipping companies, and like the other Utzon buildings, it is set back from the quay on an elevated plateau.

The main entrance faces east, so you enter from the very busy street, Sundkrogsgade. The reception area is a lovely high-ceilinged room that also functions as a hallway leading the users off to their respective areas. The two wings contain three and four floors of office space, respectively – and the 8,600-square-metre building is flanked on either side by two square pavilions.

In terms of building techniques and choice of materials, Harbour House is a direct extension of the system which the architectural firm has developed and refined to perfection over the years. Cement-bonded wood wool is also used here in the form of Troldtekt acoustic panels for sound absorption. In addition, the conference rooms are equipped with the Troldfon Sound System.
