22.09.2022

By 2030, more than EUR 40 billion will be invested in the construction and renovation of German learning environments. At the SCHULBAU expos, architects and decision-makers can gain new knowledge and inspiration on how to translate these massive investments into healthy, functional and long-lasting buildings.

On 28 and 29 September 2022, SCHULBAU will open the doors to an all-new expo in Köln. Here, Palladium will be the backdrop for exhibitions and expert presentations. Key issues and topics addressed include exercise at school, sustainability and digital transformation.

Troldtekt GmbH has a stand and will be giving a presentation in the Experten Lab at the expo.

Cradle to Cradle-certified acoustic solutions

You can meet our experienced team of project consultants on Stand 29 and see a selection of Troldtekt acoustic solutions, made from Danish wood and cement. What you can experience on the stand:

  • Cradle to Cradle-certified acoustic solutions. The full range of Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool products – in both natural wood/natural grey and painted in standard colours – has advanced to Gold status within the Cradle to Cradle sustainable design concept.
  • The stand will also showcase products from Troldtekt’s design series, which won an ICONIC Award 2019 and a German Design Award 2020.
  • The brand-new Troldtekt acoustic panels based on FUTURECEM™ cement. The panels have a reduced carbon footprint, when measured in terms of the raw materials, raw material transport and production. They have won a Green Product Award 2022 and a German Innovation Award 2022, and they are nominated for German Sustainability Award.

Be inspired in the Experten Lab

In the Experten Lab, you can hear why healthy building materials play a key role in sustainable school buildings. Tina Snedker Kristensen, Head of Sustainability and Communications at Troldtekt, will be giving a talk and presenting examples of DGNB-certified schools in Germany and Denmark. The Experten Lab presentation takes place on the first day of the expo, 28 September, at 14.00.
