Meet Troldtekt and DGNB at BAU 2023 in Munich
Troldtekt is attending as partner on the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) stand at the leading trade fair BAU 2023. On the stand, DGNB and its partners focus on sustainable, climate-positive and circular building solutions.
The world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and building systems. This is the motto for BAU, which on 17-22 April is expected to attract more than 250,000 visitors and approx. 2,300 exhibitors to the trade fair in Munich.
Troldtekt is participating at the trade fair as one of the DGNB partners. On the DGNB stand you can, among other things, attend a DGNB Treffpunkt, at which Troldtekt is participating in the debate.
Debate on real product qualities
The theme for the DGNB stand for the six-day trade fair is ‘Building 2030 – sustainable, climate-positive and circular’. The focus is on how the industry today can construct buildings that will also be future-proof in 2030.
The stand (no. 518) is located in hall C2 at Trade Fair Center München. Every day, the stand will host a wide range of interesting talks and debates.
DGNB will close each day of the trade fair with an open Treffpunkt, which is a chance for experts to discuss a selected topic within sustainability. Tina Snedker Kristensen, Troldtekt’s Head of Sustainability & Communications, will be there on 19 April at 17:00 and participate in the debate about how the real sustainability qualities of materials manifest themselves other than through fancy marketing words.
As part of the format, members of the audience will also be able to take part in the debate.
Contributing to DGNB-certified building
Troldtekt is a member of DGNB, which manages the German certification scheme for sustainable buildings. The certification highlights the importance of taking a holistic approach to sustainability based on, for example, environmental, economic and sociocultural criteria.
Ramboll, the global architecture, engineering and consultancy company, has documented that Troldtekt acoustic solutions can contribute positively to criteria that collectively account for about half of a building’s possible DGNB certification points.
