On 7-11 February, architects, designers and other participants from over 100 countries will be visiting the world’s largest platform for Scandinavian design – Stockholm Furniture Fair. This is the first time you can meet Troldtekt AB at the fair and discover a selection of distinctive acoustic solutions from Troldtekt’s design series.
“We’ve gone to great lengths to design an inspiring and dynamic stand, and we’re looking forward to welcoming architects and other trade fair participants,” says Jørgen Elofsson, Country Manager at Troldtekt AB.
Elegant installations and virtual puzzle
On stand A22:20 at Stockholmsmässan, you will find:

After the fair, Troldtekt will donate the acoustic solutions from the stand to a Swedish project – a design studio, an office, a school or another exciting project.
A talk about designing with healthy materials
In addition to having a stand, Troldtekt is giving a talk at Stockholm Furniture Fair. Under the title ‘Designing with healthy materials’, Tina Snedker Kristensen, our Head of Sustainability & Communications, will be on stage on Wednesday 8 February at 13:00 in K11.
She will share her experience from more than a decade of working to optimise both products and production in line with the international design concept Cradle to Cradle. She will also elaborate on how building materials contribute to sustainability certifications – such as the Swedish Green Building Council (Miljöbygnad), LEED and WELL. Finally, she will being presenting best practice examples from both Sweden and abroad.
Taking acoustic solutions to new aesthetic heights
The entire range of Troldtekt acoustic solutions, both in natural wood/natural grey and painted in our standard colours, has achieved Cradle to Cradle certification at Gold level. The certification documents, among other things, that the panels are free of substances that are harmful to humans or the environment.
With the design series, Troldtekt has taken its classic acoustic panels to new aesthetic heights. Michael Christensen, in-house architect at Troldtekt and the main designer behind the series, explains:
“Some of the solutions in the range are very much in line with the classic Nordic way of thinking about interiors and surfaces. This goes for, for example, Troldtekt line, Troldtekt line design and Troldtekt v-line which, with their straight grooves, are characterised by a stringent look. On the other hand, you can achieve an exciting and dynamic look by using our more expressive designs such as Troldtekt rhomb with its special dimensions or Troldtekt curves with its wavy lines.”
