Enormous interest in good acoustics at Nordbygg
The Nordic region’s largest construction trade fair, Nordbygg in Stockholm, attracted 40,000 professionals from the construction industry. Troldtekt took part for the first time with a stand that was also very well visited.
Nordbygg is the Nordic region’s largest meeting place for the construction industry. It's held every two years and attracts professionals from Sweden, the rest of Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.
In 2024, Nordbygg was held on 23–26 April at Stockholmsmässan in the Swedish capital, with around 40,000 visitors through the doors.
There were no less than 900 exhibitors in the halls and more than 200 seminars where developers, architects, contractors and any one else interested could gain new knowledge and network with colleagues in the industry.
Troldtekt shared a stand with IsoTimber, which supplies prefabricated solid wood walls.
Impressed by tranquillity and design
It was the first time that Troldtekt participated as an exhibitor at the Nordbygg trade fair – and it was a successful debut. The stand featured examples of distinctive Troldtekt design solutions and acoustic panels based on the carbon-reduced cement type FUTURECEM™.
"Many of the visitors to the stand received a pleasant surprise. They were impressed by the tranquility that Troldtekt provides and how important the acoustic panels are. There was widespread interest in our products – especially the design series with Troldtekt line and Troldtekt v-line," says Thomas Åberg, Sales Manager for retail and industry in Sweden.
"We engaged in a lot of interesting conversations, which led to new contacts, opportunities for future partners and new business. We had visitors from retailers, construction companies, architects, industry, property developers and tradespeople. All in all, it was a good mix of different segments within the construction industry," he continues.
The next Nordbygg Trade Fair will be held on 21–24 April 2026.
