Theodora House

Right by the Elephant Gate is Theodora Hus, named after the daughter of Carlsberg's founder, and a building for both residential and commercial use.

Superior acoustics in the workplace with Troldtekt acoustic ceilings

The red tile building is centrally located in Copenhagen's historic Carlsberg City District and connects the main thoroughfare with several squares behind it. Architecture studio ADEPT has exquisitely adapted the construction in terms of scale and materials, taking inspiration from the details of historic buildings. Alexanders Bistro faces Ny Carlsberg Vej, but they also serve on the opposite side – on Ottilia Jacobsens Plads. The original spring from Valby Bakke was located here and has now been transformed into an installation with a water curtain. From this square, which also houses the restaurant Studio CPH, the spring runs under Paulas Passage, leading down to the large square called Bryggerens Plads (Brewers' Square).

Relaxed interior design

Paulas Passage is home to BPI (Business Partnering Institute), which has also experienced a transformation from within. From the entrance level, you have to go up a few steps to the office area. BPI is a company that specialises in financial, managerial and analytical consulting. The company leases a corner office and therefore receives a lot of natural light from several sides. They do however have an indoor meeting room with a New Yorker-style glass partition, which is ideal for large-screen meetings.

Throughout BPI’s office, Troldtekt acoustic ceilings in natural grey were chosen to provide coherence to the office’s levels and rooms. The ceiling is almost the same colour as the exposed installations that also run along the ceiling. Troldtekt is a product that fits in with the raw interior design and provides comfortable acoustics, whether you're sitting in the office space, at the lunch table or at the table football game.
