Superior acoustics in school sports hall
Valdemarsro Gymnasium in Malmö is a specialist upper secondary school for special needs students. The school is therefore designed with a high degree of accessibility and facilities for teaching small groups of students as well as various key subjects.

The school’s sports hall is used a lot. Here, classic Troldtekt acoustic panels in natural wood have been installed on the ceiling to ensure superior acoustics in what is a large space with many hard surfaces, and where music is also occasionally used as part of the teaching.
In fact, Troldtekt is a perfect choice for sports halls, as the acoustic panels have been tested and approved for use as acoustic ceilings and wall cladding in such environments, where they are exposed to considerable impacts from, for example, fast-moving handballs.
