The transformation of the Stortorvet 7 office and retail building in Oslo has been so successful that the building has now been designated Building of the Year. Troldtekt acoustic solutions help to ensure good acoustics in the building’s office floors.

There was a lot of excitement when three companies competed for the title of Traineeship of the Year in the Metal Industry in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality. Troldtekt was among the finalists, thanks to suggestions from both of our apprentice smiths.

With its flexible modular systems, the company Urban Beta will build circular buildings on demand. The concept had its world premiere in an extension to Leipzig International School – where Troldtekt is part of the design. On 22–23 February 2024, the project partners shared their experiences at the school's 'Circular Partners Day'.

Innovative building solutions, inspiring ideas and the latest knowledge on sustainability. This is the focus on 5–7 March 2024, when ExCeL in London opens its doors to Futurebuild. Troldtekt will be exhibiting acoustic solutions at the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Community stand and participating in two knowledge sessions on healthy materials.

On 28–29 February 2024, the SCHULBAU trade fair will be in Stuttgart, where school architecture and innovative products will be in the spotlight. Troldtekt will be there – both with an exhibition stand and an expert presentation on 29 February.

The Finishes and Interiors Sector (FIS) conference will take place in London on 27 and 28 February 2024 in conjunction with the Workspace Design Show. Troldtekt will participate in a discussion about positive collaboration and early involvement. Troldtekt participates in panel discussion at the Finishes and Interiors Sector conference in London.

Stockholm Design Week offers events throughout the Swedish capital from 5 to 11 February 2024. Experience Troldtekt at Jordens Arkitekter’s exhibition about the future of construction, at events in the Studio B3 showroom – and for Scandinavian knowledge sharing at the Danish Embassy.

Troldtekt has installed a heat exchanger that utilises the waste heat from the production drying process. The pilot project has resulted in a 30 per cent reduction in energy consumption in the sections of the drying oven where the trial was conducted.

Swedish construction industry magazine Byggeindustrin unveils the projects that have been nominated for the Building of the Year 2024 award. A record number of exemplary buildings have been nominated, and several of them feature Troldtekt acoustic solutions.

The prestigious Building of the Year Award 2023 in the 'Open' category goes to the Cold War Museum REGAN Vest in Rold Skov south of Aalborg. Troldtekt acoustic panels are used in the design of the newly built above-ground reception and exhibition building.
