About Troldtekt rhomb

Acoustic panel with a three-dimensional look

Troldtekt rhomb is a design solution in which the acoustic panels contain rhombus-shaped patterns. When combined, they create a dynamic and scalable pattern with a distinct sense of depth. Three panels can be combined to form a hexagon, and with the Troldtekt rhomb hatch variant, four milled grooves are added to enhance the rhythm of the design.

All sides of the panel are milled with a bevelled edge, which gives precise grooves in the joints and emphasises the geometric design. The rhombuses can be arranged in repetitive sequences or more random patterns, giving the surface exactly the look the architect wants.

Design with proven properties

Behind the visual look, the well-known properties of Troldtekt are preserved: effective sound absorption, proven sustainability measures and the option of surface treatment in different colours. Troldtekt rhomb is therefore an obvious choice if you want to combine acoustic comfort with architectural geometry.

Benefits of choosing Troldtekt® rhomb

Form and function with proven properties

Easy handling
Easy handling
Troldtekt rhomb is supplied as finished panels with precisely milled bevelled edges, ensuring sharp joints and simple installation on both ceilings and walls.
Geometric design
Geometric design
The rhombus-shaped panels create three-dimensional patterns that can vary from strictly repetitive to more vibrant and random looks.
Certified wood
Certified wood
Troldtekt rhomb is manufactured from 100% certified wood (either FSC® C115450 or PEFC/09-31-030), thus ensuring traceability and responsible forestry.
Proven fire performance
Proven fire performance
The panels comply with fire class B-s1,d0 and can be used in projects with high fire safety requirements.
Effective acoustics
Effective acoustics
Behind the geometric design are the same proven acoustic properties that characterise all Troldtekt panels, with high sound absorption in both large and small spaces.

Troldtekt® Plus
Troldtekt Plus is a two-layer panel consisting of a Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool panel with a laminated backing layer.
Troldtekt® A2
Troldtekt A2 panels is the non-combustible one-layer acoustic panel in the Troldtekt range. It is installed in areas where there are stricter fire safety regulations, such as in means of escape.
Troldtekt® curves
Troldtekt curves offers a seamless surface, with a lengthwise pattern of repetitive, soft curves. All the grooves match up on the short sides, so you can turn panels 180 degrees during installation without problem.
Troldtekt® baffles
Troldtekt baffles are an effective and flexible acoustics solution that can supplement existing sound-absorbing surfaces on the walls and ceilings while regulating the acoustics in rooms where it is not possible to install a suspended acoustic ceiling.
