Seven Danish projects featuring Troldtekt are in the running for the international Building of the Year 2022 award presented by the ArchDaily blog. Registered ArchDaily users can help choose which projects make it to the finals.

The new Troldtekt® acoustic panels based on the cement type FUTURECEM™ have been nominated for the Green Product Award 2022. The global award honours innovative and sustainable solutions that shift the market in a green direction. Until 31 January 2022, anyone can vote for their favourite.

Aarhus School of Architecture’s new building NEW AARCH and the community centre Pakhuset Braunstein at the Port of Køge are among the four winners of the Building of the Year Award 2021 in Denmark. In addition, the primary school Erlev Skole in Haderslev in southern Jutland received an honourable mention. Each of the three projects has used different Troldtekt acoustic solutions in their design.

At the ‘Vorbildlicher Bauten’ (exemplary buildings) awards ceremony in the German State of Hessen, Alnatura Arbeitswelt and Kinder- und Jugendzentrum Pankratiusstraße were honoured in the Newbuild category. The two projects in Darmstadt both feature Troldtekt acoustic solutions in their interior design.

Consultants and developers can now download new environmental product declarations (EPDs) for 12 different Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool products. The EPDs document the environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of the acoustic panels. The new versions also take into account the thickness of the panels and thus their density.

A jury of renowned architects has presented the Architects’ Darling 2021 award to Troldtekt in the Cradle-to-Cradle Challenge category. The leading German architecture portal Heinze is behind the award, which was presented to Troldtekt at an award show in Celle.

Offices are so yesterday – the modern form of the workplace, so-called workspaces, are the new work model. In combination with a lobby, meeting rooms, work stations which are no longer personalised and even public cafés, office buildings are now meeting places for service providers, freelancers and other independent workers.

The century-old building Magasin 211 has been carefully renovated and given a new lease of life, and the project has now won Stadsbyggnadspriset 2021, the Municipality of Malmö’s highest architectural prize. Troldtekt acoustic ceilings are an integral part of the new design.

At the ARCHITECT@WORK trade fairs in Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Stuttgart, architects and other professionals can experience Troldtekt® design solutions, which combine good acoustics and a healthy indoor climate with distinctive design.

The old coal building Gasverket Hus 8 in Stockholm has undergone extensive renovation, and the result has now been awarded the prestigious ROT Prize. As part of the renovation, the historic premises were fitted with Troldtekt acoustic ceilings.
